Ambassadors of the Kingdom10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. God didn't save you to sit idle. You've been given a mission: to reveal God's wisdom to the world. You are His ambassador everywhere—at work, school, home, and even in traffic. Your purpose isn't winning arguments but representing Jesus. People should see Christ in you before they hear your opinions. This requires living differently, speaking gracefully, and loving sacrificially. The church exists not just within four walls but in every sphere of influence where believers dwell. Your good deeds should point others to glorify God, not to join your political party or denomination. Let your light shine with such clarity that people can't help but see Jesus. Embajadores del reinoPorque somos hechura de Dios, creados en Cristo Jesús para buenas obras, las cuales Dios dispuso de antemano a fin de que las pongamos en práctica. 18 Todo esto proviene de Dios, quien por medio de Cristo nos reconcilió consigo mismo y nos dio el ministerio de la reconciliación: 19 esto es, que en Cristo, Dios estaba reconciliando al mundo consigo mismo, no tomándole en cuenta sus pecados y encargándonos a nosotros el mensaje de la reconciliación. 20 Así que somos embajadores de Cristo, como si Dios los exhortara a ustedes por medio de nosotros: «En nombre de Cristo les rogamos que se reconcilien con Dios.» 13 Ustedes son la sal de la tierra. Pero si la sal se vuelve insípida, ¿cómo recobrará su sabor? Ya no sirve para nada, sino para que la gente la deseche y la pisotee. Dios no te salvó para que te quedes de brazos cruzados. Se te ha dado una misión: revelar la sabiduría de Dios al mundo. Eres Su embajador en todas partes: en el trabajo, la escuela, el hogar e incluso en el tráfico. Tu propósito no es ganar discusiones, sino representar a Jesús. Las personas deberían ver a Cristo en ti antes de escuchar tus opiniones.
Esto requiere vivir de manera diferente, hablar con gracia y amar con sacrificio. La iglesia no existe solo dentro de cuatro paredes, sino en cada esfera de influencia donde habitan los creyentes.
